My guess is that originally rewards were supposed to be spread across all delve tiers up to 11, but Blizzard got cold feet because people would QQ too much about difficulty.
8s are extremely easy, too easy for the requisite rewards.

Ye and no. If you’ve spammed them and understand them they get easier. If your fresh and under geared you’ll feel like a noodle hitting a sponge.

I would join a grp at that ilvl.
i just did a 10 at 10lvls under the recommended ilvl but had to do one of the easy ones that had the big bug at the end
Millage varies. As a Warlock, i was doing them in ilvl 590ish gear. Not faceroll, but very doable.
On my Evoker, it’s noticeably harder. Ilvl 605 and it’s definately harder than my lock was at ilvl 590. I can die and some pulls get spicy… but overall they are doable. Great for filling up vault slots.

Hard is relative to skill, spec, and gear. Delves are content designed for casual players who don’t have the time or skill or ambition to do challenging group content, so they still have a way to progress.
If they are too easy for you, there’s plenty of harder content available to you.
If they are too hard, gear up a bit before 8s and look into some of the utility and cc available to your class that you may not be used to using in open world content.

Been doing them just fine on Resto Sham, Arcane Mage, BM Monk, and Fury/Prot War since 570ish ilvl. They’re not difficult, just kinda tedious sometimes.
Can confirm: No they will not. 540 is more than enough to crush them.
It entirely depends on the player. I know a lot of people that find 8s a challenge.
This content was meant for casuals, solo players, small groups and they work up to the gear level from these Delves. There are all different skill levels of players.

Bountiful delves give out rewards. Regular T8 delves give mostly currencies, sometimes you might get like a trinket but not usually.
