One thing I enjoyed back in the day was going to the different whelp mobs and grinding them to level. There were like 4 or 5 diff whelps that dropped off varying level range mobs.
I’d just throw on some tunes and go on a whelp massacre spree and maybe I’d get lucky and the cool pet would drop.
Anywho just wondering if any whelps are currently in the game that can drop from whelp mobs. Not to sure about what patch they were added and what patch we started at so looking for someone with more wow knowledge than myself
Wetlands, Badlands, Redridge, Swamp of Sorrows, Burning steppes, Dustwallow Marsh, Winter Spring, Feralas, Fellwood, Duskwood, Hinterlands, and im sure there are others im forgetting right now.
Do they drop the whelp pets or was that added in later patches is basically what I’m asking. I know there are whelps in the game haha
Yes, the whelp pets are in the game.

some do, I just dont remember for sure what ones other than I know 100% for a fact that the ones in Badlands do, 20 years ago on my very first kill of one of them I got the black whelp egg, hatches into a pet.
