I see everyone caster using staff now, compare to 1hand + off hand set previously in past expansion.
Is 1hand + off hand not as viable as staff anymore?
I like using my sword xmog on my caster versus staff, are there still 1 hand caster swords and off hand?
Castle Nathria has weapon tokens for not only 2-handed staves but also wands and off-hand items. If you look through the dungeon guide you can find a few daggers and 1-handed swords.
If you are playing fire then you can transmog the Felo’melorn appearances regardless of what weapon type you are using. You could also transmog Felo’melorn as the other specs, but in that case you would likely need a sword for it to work.
With regards to stats I assume they are still really close regardless of which route you go. The last time I compared them was in late BfA, and the stat difference was small.
Do you know if wands can be transmogged into swords and/or daggers?
In the last expansion you could add sockets and corruption to both weapons making them better end game. As those options are not available, it’s easier to get 1 max level, 2 hand staff then two singles at max level.
