Are there any women who could be on the short-list for Blizzard President? If not, why not?

Not at all naysaying this idea but unless you get one with the right mindset, she won’t be the easy fix you are apparently thinking it is.

I never said it was an easy fix, just maybe a good idea to consider one in the running at least. But I’ve never heard any female names and am curious, why. Blizz is like 20 years old, so surely some female has risen to the short-list by know. Does anyone know any names?

How about the woman who is in charge of TBCC?

Where is this even coming from? What difference does it make?

I have a female CEO. I assure you it doesn’t magically stop workplace harassments against female employees.

I don’t think it’s “magic,” but being able to say “This woman is in the top 3 candidates” would kind of show that women are taken seriously and can advance.

Whatever happened to meritocracy?

Haven’t you heard? That’s racist and sexist now.

What funny is people think a person would be better just cause of their gender.
You know there are plenty of terrible women out there, right?
Ex: Fran Townsend… and all the women heading military industrial companies.

I’ve been reading all the threads and people’s suggestions about new blizzard CEOS and didn’t see any women and I’m asking why.

What happens if you replace most of the Higher Ups with Females including the CEO?

As long as they are competent at their job. Needs to be merit based rather than just getting that position for the sake of it

Carly Fiorinia For Blizzard 2022

Maybe for optics, sure.

But statistically there are probably better measures if that’s your goal. I mean how impactful is a female CEO if 80% of your leadership is male anyway? Conversely, does matter if your CEO is a male if your leadership is balanced to begin with?

Just replace all males who works at activision with female … why stop with CEO

This is a very low IQ take

Where I work it about doubled the number of new female hires. They still make up less than 50% but am seeing a lot more women now and a lot less inbreeding and promoting of incompetent “golf buddies”. Overall it’s been a pleasant change.

They don’t necessarily need a female CEO, they need to fire these dumbass frat boyz

what a sweeping generalization about an entire gender…

I can’t argue with that, but like I said they inbreed. They get promoted and promote other frat bros. It’s like a plague.
