I feel like I just want something to work towards, a carrot-on-a-stick if you will, but I’m not really seeing anything. There’s obviously content to run, but as far as meaningful rewards, nothing really jumps out.
For my part, I’m pretty tired of just having recolors of the same tier sets, which you’ll inevitably be able to get from steamrolling content if you just wait a bit. I’ve always been highly motivated by rare drops or cool weapons from unique quest-chains, things like that. If the only thing you’re working towards is the same gear but with slightly higher numbers… well, that’s super boring.
I am pretty eager to see what the Anniversary even looks like, but not really seen any “must-have” items for really any class. The Arathi armor designs all look sick, mind you, but I haven’t really seen anything that makes me think “oh man, I’ve gotten keep grinding M+ or get into raiding to get THAT!”

You could go for the delve version of the Hallowfall sets, since you like the originals. There are matching weapons, too. Other than that, the only tier set I’m working on is the mythic version for my monk. Nothing else really screams “must have” this season.

Off the top of my head there is not really one thing BUT I do have a goal of trying to get my toons decked out with profession gear and getting max sized bags.
It’s definitely going to take some time and effort but I think it will be pretty cool and a great way to make some money back towards the end.
I am with you in the gear though and im pretty happy picking up and upgrade when they come along. Maybe set some goals for yourself and work on something you may have wanted to do but have not got around to?

Mostly I am after the bee mount. I’ve done almost everything else I want to do. Loremaster, Pathfinder, etc.

I am just Casual… less play time. My personal goal should be easy. KSM and AoTC.
Why am I looking for gear? To beat KSM and AoTC. Straightforward simple.
And the fun part is… would be doing it as a PuG.
For now, so far so good.

I have Siesbarg, that’s really all the special I need lol.
I have the recolor of that Stonevault, got it from Awakening the Machine yesterday.
Ain’t no way I’m farming crackling shards for that birb, although it does look nice.
Kah – I might go for that eventually, since it’s something you can plan around on Saturdays.
And the dirigible – I just don’t like the design, I doubt I’ll ever use that.

Different stuff for people…
I have the Siesberg quest chain on my hunter so will get it eventually.
I also have three of the shards for the bird as well. Didn’t really do anything special to get them. So one day.
Got the fish last Saturday.
Some people might find the the dirigible nice because you can customize it like your dragons.

Things to work towards could be maxing all 4 reps out or trying to get the beetle from the delve meta achievement?
Other than that, not much long term S1 stuff to work towards. I’m hoping that the anniversary stuff is engaging and I enjoy the content.
I don’t think an achievement like A World Awoken (to get the Taiven mount) or Back from Beyond (which gave the Soul Eater) will go live until later in the expansion.

I worked for the Threads Hearth stone effects, Zekvir Solo kill Toy, Black Weaver Spider Mount, and the Cinderbrew Bee mount, Hallowfall Glow pet, Book Desk toy in hallowfall, couple others here and there. Now to work on the Seisbarg mount as I’ve just mainly been collecting the stuff naturally. I’m sure there are some other knick knacks but those are the ones I shot for right away.
Not sure about Carrot on a stick type stuff. There is a mount speed increase enchant for your boots so basically same effect.
i wonder if it toggles into a crab lol
Max sized bags is easy, they’re 3500g a pop.
