Are there any realms where dungeon boosting is less prevalent?

I already have a 60 and want to level a new character or two. I guess I’m a rare breed in that I enjoy questing / doing dungeons with others. I have zero interest in being boosted. Are there any realms like this? Prefer US West and PVP.

I really wish they’d just open up a new realm or two

Look for a large realm and ignore the boosters. You want a realm with a population of new and second alt players. The boosters are folks who are leveling their third and fourth and fifth alt. They have nothing to do with whether you can find a regular group or not.

Also, high level players might offer you help for free. Either take the help or politely decline because you want to do it without assistance. You wont get the fresh server experience where everyone is leveling together unless blizzard opens fresh servers. So make friends with the people who are there.

Alliance Old Blanchy seems fairly clear of them, but IDK off my head if there’s many people to group with either.

Truth is at this point unless you have friends who are willing to commit with you you won’t be finding a great server for dungeon groups.

I’m on a server with Q’s and can’t find a single group on my alt for ulda ,zf,Mara, etc so 40-50 is awful but in every other range I see groups occasionally forming.

Mostly groups that want to do quests quickly. ST and BRD are always forming groups but anything below that is hard to find and I’m pretty sure it will be that way in every server.

So go for a high pop server and bring some friends with you if you can. Be the tank and heals so you can always get groups more quickly.

I share your sentiment that boosting is kind of dirty because I enjoy the challenge of leveling. Good luck out there, leveling legit is rough these days grind lots of mobs and don’t be surprised if your dungeon groups need to be carried or will have to disband. It’s just the state of the game at this point.

Alliance has better better pve community on both pvp and pve servers. Plus they have palas that can tank or heal dungeons adding to more in the pool to form groups.

Windseeker is a medium population East-coast PvE server that does have boosting (there seems to have been an influx lately), but also has a lot of normal dungeon pugs, although it does get fairly quiet late at night. I’ve been levelling a couple alts in the 20’s, and I’ve gotten into a lot of fun groups.

Whatever server you go on, you’ll probably see people boosting, but if you are willing to be patient and look around you can find real groups.

Dungeon boosts are rare on my low-pop PvE server, and much more common on my high-pop PvE server. So I recommend picking a medium to low pop PvP server.

I don’t share your idea that a new realm would have different players – only players like you. A new realm would have the same players as all the others have.

I would actually hope that the people who pay gold to other people to play the game for them are the rare breed.

Find yourself a good guild on whichever realm you start on. See if there are any Discord servers for the server you are interested in and/or guild postings in the forums. A good guild will most likely have several people leveling alts and should help you along, especially if you want to go to a PvP server.

Thanks.

Then don’t get boosted. do you think someone forces you to?

I almost never see groups for ST.

He doesn’t want to get boosted. He wants a realm where boosting is less common.

OP, try one of the RP-PvP realms. From what I hear, boosting is less common on those (not Grob).

As Alliance I’d like to point you to Stallag or Skeram… I don’t think you’ll run into too many dungeon boosting services… Could be the authentic experience you’re looking for.

we need some fresh server for players who didnt start last year

nobody wants to roll new on an already farmed to death server
