I know phase 8 isn’t here yet, and I know datamining isn’t end all be all.
But I REALLY hope this isn’t what the best gear in the game looks like.
We’re just gonna have all mages, priests, and locks just look the same outside of color? We’re gonna have everyone but locks use red/gold/black/white?
I get we’re raiding the Scarlet Crusade, but my Rogues leather set has flashlights on his pally looking pauldrons and I’m not okay with it.
Its definitely uninspired its sad and i doubt theyre going to fix it. Its a damn joke and people are eating it up like its the new hotness. Its lazy and reused sets from other expacs gonna have a pally the hero class of this phase looking like a warrior that comes from tbc working at mcdonalds like wtf is that garbage dont get me started on the pvp rogue reskin for boomkin i dont wanna look like a rogue lol. Its just sad.
I don’t mind recolors, but it’s the absolute best gear of the game, make it look good. Make the classes look different. Give us sets that you can tell from looking, “Oh that is a Hunter for sure.”

Remember people hate everyone looking the same but they hate transmog more. 
I like being able to tell someone’s gear at a glance for PvP, otherwise I don’t care. I just think they should’ve put a little more effort into the best gear in the game. Hoping this is just a placeholder.
I never understood this mindset. why not go into every interaction thinking they have the best gear and play accordingly. the only thing i can think of is that you dodge players because they have good gear which is stupid because why wouldnt you want to challenge yourself in PvP to become better at PvP. anyways, I would much rather have transmog than everyone looking the same or everyone using 10 different toys looking like a bug or skeleton with no animations, which for some reason no transmog hater is complaining about
They couldve literally just taken t4 for all classes and it wouldve been better than this.

I don’t dodge players, but the information is valuable.
If they’re low geared, don’t waste CC, just burst, if they’re geared you play the long game. It helps prioritize targets and determine threats. Recognizing and utilizing that information makes you a better player.
1v3 and there’s two scrubs and a Paladin in full grand marshal/t3 I’m CCing the paladin and bursting the scrubs, only to come back to him.
Low geared rogue jumps on me in open world, I’ll eat the stun and burst. High geared rogue jumps on me, I’m popping a living action potion.
Nah because that takes effort we gotta have clothies all look like mages leather look like rogues mail look like shamans and plate look like warriors clearly you dont see the vision man.
I couldn’t care less about the looks, im annoyed by the fact that mele hunter is just %damage, %attack speed, and more %damage.
We have had the same damn boring set bonuses for 3 teirs essentially.

It wouldve been less effort to just give t4 as it exists instead of these lazy clown recolours. If they wanted a bit more effort they couldve done t4 for everyone with the clown recolours
You’re actually on to something i dont know what these “devs” are thinking… it’s clear they don’t play this game with how god awful the set bonuses are for most people boomkins are solid so i lucked out but everyone is suffering.
I think we have to accept that the classic team is not allotted a bunch of time for SOD… So sadly, this is a way to cut corners… It appears to be reskins of other tiers from other expansions, how much time would it cost to make mages and warlocks look different?
It still doesn’t make sense, they could’ve just gone with t4 looks for everyone and I think we would’ve all been happier than what we got.
