I mean, it would make sense for most of them.
Spirit=life+ holy magic
Fire=fel+holy magic(holy magic “neutralizing” part of fel entropic nature)
Air=undeath+fel(cunning and madness sounds pretty much like both of them)
Earth=arcane+shadow(stability sounds pretty much like order, and stuborness is somewhat shadowish considering void keeps stubornly trying to consume everything)
Decay=void+undeath(pretty self explanatory)
Water=life+arcane(which would explain water’s healing properties)
It would also explain why that broker dude consider it “low magic”.
As far as we know, the Elements are their own cosmic force, albeit not one of the Great Six. The main difference is that they are tied to physical worlds instead of being cosmic energy flowing freely through the Great Dark and beyond. That’s probably why people like the Brokers would disregard it as “low magic” and consider shamans “primitive casters” and things like that. But from what we know, the Elements are their own thing.
Which doesn’t mean that X Element doesn’t have an affinity with Y cosmic force in regards to their respective inherent characteristics. I definitely think a given Element is “metaphysically closer” to certain cosmic forces than it is to others. You mentioned Spirit being close to Life and Holy ; but actually, it seems Spirit is equally close to Void : remember that Spirit on Draenor had the exact same effect on the stone-skinned Breakers as the Curse of Flesh had on the stone-skinned Titanforged. It’s pretty obvious aspects of “life” as a general concept (as opposed to Life with a capital L, which refers to a specific cosmic force) can be found in different cosmic forces (at the very least Life, Light, Arcane and Void).
So, a Spirit shaman isn’t a user of Life/Holy magic ; however, the magic they use may be reminiscent of Life/Holy magic in some regards
Clearly, cosmic borders are rather porous

But as far as we know the entire universe is suppose to be have been created by the Great Six. So it would stand to reason the shamanistic elements are as well.
As of Chronicles, life was born from the clash between Light and Void, and Elementals were born from the interaction between shards of Light and the physical objects they crashed onto. The rest isn’t addressed, but we can guess that interaction was the first spark and then the Elements morphed into their own thing
After all, the Void itself comes from the Light, since it was born from the lack thereof. The Void started off as an absence of Light. Then it gradually became a cosmic force on equal footing with the Light

Pretty certain it was said in some interview that that was just a myth(ie a soft retcon). Officially we dont know how the universe was formed and all signs point to the First Ones making the universe. Including light and void.
Yeah that’s the new version that’s being built up. May also turn out to be a lie btw. Who knows at this point, the larger cosmic lore is obviously being completely remade so wait & see
It was either the Grimoire of the Shadowlands or one the lore books in game, but according to the lore, the First Ones had to beat back the orignal elemental forces and arrange them as they saw fit.
Kind of makes sense why everything is so mechanical. It looks like the First Ones took the orignal Eternal Ones of each cosmic force and stuff their souls into robot bodies so they would better follow their new programming.
The original birth of the cosmos could still be true, while the followers of the First Ones, believe that the First Ones were the ones responsible for creation
