Tried using it on two different characters, getting the same response… “you can do that right now”

Which glider? The consumable or the attachment? Because there is a difference thanks to the legendary cloak thingy we carry.

I keep at least 20 on all characters.
Needed it just now and yeah…nearly died lol.
Tried it on a second character…didnt work.
Then the 3rd and 4th characters it did work.
Still not working on 1 or 2, though.

Were you in raid when you’re trying to use the glider? I’m just trying to help you, but my knowledge of this game is limited. Honestly I’m trying to understand what happened to you exactly so I can avoid it.
Can’t use gliders while on the ground. You have to jump off the cliff first.
no…just out in the world. Tried to leap off a cliff edge where I have 1000 times before and it just refuses to open, lol. thankfully wasnt a huge drop.
edit…whats even more entertaining is a I take another character over to the same spot and it works just fine, lol
edit…yeah…just showed the wife so she could verify…one character works fine…another one in the same spot diong the same thing doesnt, lol

You can’t use it in instanced content outside of random bgs if that is what you are thinking about.
Otherwise it should work perfectly fine.
If it’s out in the world perhaps it’s an addon messing with it?
Im trying to use it out i n the world where Ive always used it…and as stated some characters are able to use it in the exact same spots that some arent.

Definitely a bug worth reporting if it’s working fine on one and not another. Haven’t yet experienced it
Yeah only thing I could think of is a genuine bug or addon interaction. Has it only just recently started happening after the update?
Just started right before I posted about it in the OP.
Odd that ALL of my characters Ive tried it on work fine but the two, lol…and they are my main two characters. Not the end of the world right now, but I use the gliders a ton when I cant fly…like going into SLs. Hopefully its fixed soon.
Are they the exact same gliders on the different characters?

Could be that one is bugged or has more restrictions on usage than the other. Could be a possible explanation as to why it works on some toons but not all of them if they have two different kinds.
(though still wouldnt explain why one of those two kinds aren’t working)
Just tried Goblin Glider Kit on 3 characters, works fine .
I get inconsistent results with mine too.
Even if there’s an explanation, some tooltip clarification would be nice about when it does a d doesn’t work,
oh this is even better.
Its NOT working in places like Draenor…but IS working in Broken Isles, lol, on the same character.
But on other characters in Draenor in the same exact spot its working just fine like it always has.
All the same…all made by the same exact character.
Could it be that those two characters have a rank 6 cloak or above and the others don’t? Not an expert, just trying to think of things.
One has a cloak, the other isnt high enough level to get it, but the glider works fine on both characters in most zones now outside anywhere in Draenor for some insane reason.
I portaled around and so far it seems to be limited to those two characters and I think its limited to draenor, lol.
Gotta be a bug I managed to trigger somehow.
