So with only 1 server per type we get no options to play on a server with playable ping

From my recollection, in these situations they go with central servers. 30 or 40 ping is perfectly fine.
is that even a thing ? i have mostly played on classic era and i have solid 25 ping on east servers and borderline unplayable ping of 80+ on the west coast servers. Also when i look up servers on ironforge pro there all classified as east or west no Central from what i can tell.
The central servers are in Chicago iirc, that’s likely where these will be

Not sure about classic but you can Google wow servers Chicago datacenter and stuff will come up

If I recall, US-Living Flame is on a central server. SoD server.
As an Australian we need us west servers, us east is unplayable
When I see Australian players on an East Coast server, they seem to vanish and appear in different places when they go to move. They say it’s high ping, I call it a high power level.
it’s called the afterimage technique, Aussies are very powerful
They have to be in order to play upside down all day. It’s actually pretty amazing.
Alaskan here with a minimum of 70-100 ping on central/east coast. Don’t see how its unplayable.
How is Alaska? I’ve been interested in moving there eventually.
Was about to say the same thing, OCE didn’t even get servers until WOD and we had to put up with 180-300ms.
