Are the Forsaken gone?

They said they were just going out to get cigarettes!

Right after victory did not come to Sylvanas.

We are still here! As several in this thread have already pointed out, there are still a handful of actively recruiting Forsaken guilds about. While we might not be the dominant race on the Horde, there are definitely avenues to find us.

What some people above have pointed out—particularly that we, as a race, are facing a lack of the “freshly risen” en masse and a lingering general distrust from even our allies after Sylvanas and the Fourth War—actually make this a very interesting (and cool) time to RP Forsaken. I’ve always enjoyed the “mistrustful, shady character” vibe of the Forsaken and while it was cool to be waging open war during BFA, leaning into the outsider vibe compared to the rest of the honor-driven Horde is a behavior rooted in our race’s origins from the time of the game’s inception. Remember when Forsaken characters started out with a “Neutral” reputation with Orgrimmar, Thunder Bluff, and Darkspear Trolls?

Anyway, all of that is to say please, come check us out! People who love the old school, darker vibe of the race will find themselves quite at home among the WRA Forsaken community.

If you’re available Saturday night, here is more info on the event Kirsy mentioned! [H-RP: Event] Sermon of the Forgotten Shadow

God, I love it when answers make sense.

Forsaken are really cool … I just wish they had viable leader ( not sylvan ) but someone who CARES about them… Not to mention their zones are completely forgotten yet are coolest

New Desolate Council is pretty cool. Belmont, Voss, Calia, Velonara and Farranel all bring something unique and interesting to the table

Not all of them. Or at least one could be replaced with a mentor of the Forgotten shadow.

I’m not a fan of Calia. I thought I would be until they introduced her. Now I feel like they meant her to be a puppet installed by the Alliance regardless of what her own, personal views are. I really feel like Blizz borked her story. And her former role as Lordaeronian royalty puts her at a different ‘status’ than the rest of the council, at least in some ways, not to mention her new, shiny appearance.

Overall though, I’d rather have the council stay in place and the politicking be offscreen for awhile. I think it gives us a decent opportunity to work in the Forsaken community to tell rebuilding storylines, restoring their homeland and reinventing their spot in the world.

I would 100% support ADDING someone rooted in the Forgotten Shadow but tbh the Light was a part of Lordaeron’s History for a long, long time so I’m not opposed to Calia existing in some sort of “Old Lordaeron Reformer” role in which she is clearly distrusted.

Love her or hate her at this point she has contributed a fair bit to re-establishing the Forsaken so I don’t think it’d be satisfying to just delete her from the council, so to speak.

Yes, having a Forgotten Shadow representative would be the spiritual balance to Calia’s light. Six members wouldn’t be good for voting purposes though. That’s why i say boot Velonara or maybe Faranell.

This is why i think of her as a Daneris. Because she might have some of the right stuff, but she is too far removed from the people for them to relate to her.

Booting Faranell from the council and keeping a very close eye on him forever would be a good idea in general.

Nothing to see here…or maybe you will see Nothing … depends upon where your dead body dwells. See you soon, unless there is Nothing to see…then who knows.

That name would have fit a rogue better.
