As the topic, I think I saw someone say that at least one of them was being moved after the event is over but is there either I NEED to do now if I want the rewards?

I believe you need to get the detective title now to be able to do it later.
No but you need the detective title to start it and I " think" that is tied to the yearly anniversary event.

Blizzard talked about making sure they moved the initial requirement to something else, but we don’t know yet.
If you have the achievements for the unlock, then the rest will stick around.

As far as I know, no, it is not limited time, once the Anniversary is over, they will be implementing a way to get it all done - Felcycle.

Thank you for the link, I guess in the end I wonder how much I trust Blizz to implement it properly LOL. I still can’t do the BFA quest intro on my horde alt to get that meta done

It will be around but I recommend doing it asap because the parts you may not have the req for you can get help from others, and the number of people doing it will drop off

This is the part many are overlooking. If you have all the items, great, if not, the longer you wait, the harder it could become or just take much much longer if you decide to gather all the items yourself. The Secret should be up always though, just as all the other secrets are still there (I think anyway)

I believe all of the crates and detective quests are staying, even once the anniversary event ends. Which is kind of strange, since they center around Alyx. Who’s the assistant greeter for the event. And a lot of the quests deal with NPCs at the event…
Not sure how the quests would stay, now that I’m saying it out loud.
Orb 2 and 6 can be totally done just by being around when someone else does it. They’re both pains to do yourself. I’d shake a leg if I intended to get the fel-cycle. That pug costume costs 25,000 gold.

The quests aren’t staying just the crates. She’s basically like a lost and found after the event is over, waiting to get her stuff back.

Alyx will be teleported to Dornogal and all you need is to collect the crates and get the title to start the chain.
This seems to be the pets, mounts and tier sets.
Can confirm the other detective quests are gone as i fell asleep on the last one for the Detective title woke up logged out, logged back in to the saddest sight, all these people like myself at an empty caverns of time T_T and the quest i was on gone from the quest log.
