world bosses - are the drop rates bugged or just so bad these bosses aren’t worth bothering with?
Playing on Pagle server. been killing the world bosses (Sha / Galleon) once a lockout on multiple characters (2 at first, now 5) every opportunity and so far, i’ve never gotten anything other than an insultingly low amount of gold comparable to just doing a daily quest.
It’s left me wondering… is this a bug or are these drop tables so awful that players may as well not even bother with the world bosses at all as they’re not worth the time? Getting to the point where I can’t say i’m very motivated to even bother with them anymore as I know it will only ever give me a miserly bit of gold.
I guess it’s intentional since the entirety of MOP so far seems to be embracing stinginess. awful drop rates on motes of harmony, daily quests give less than half the gold that Cata daily quests gave, bonus roll tokens seem to give only the same insultingly low amount of gold for such a limited resource.
Like… what gives? Is this how it is supposed to work? The only time i got an actual item from a bonus roll, it was spirit gear for my mage (worthless). The other dozen or so bonus rolls i’ve used (on multiple characters) have ALL been like 20-30 gold.
Really? 30 gold for a bonus roll? That feels about as insulting as going out to eat and tipping your server $1. At that amount, you’d need to burn 3 bonus roll tokens just to buy one raid flask. And these bonus rolls are a “limited and precious resource” supposedly, though they honestly feel like we’re being trolled by the devs.
