Back in Legion if you got to a certain research level you could read the lore about the artifacts. My new paladin cant click his book but my old one from Legion could still use her book.
Does this mean the book is not available to new players? Or is it tied to order hall progession/Legion questing?
This is cool to me. I’m a BfA baby so I wasn’t aware of this.
My Druid and Paladin have finished the campaign so I’ll see if that unlocks anything more now.
I don’t think artifact research kicked in until max Legion level? And should also be tied to the order hall progression.

While I am glad/know it is on WoWhead/wowpedia I think it would still be a horrible idea if Blizzard removed it ingame.
I’m pretty sure they didn’t. I just don’t think it opens up till max Legion level after you finish the class hall campaign.
I believe you can do one research at level 102 and another at 105. The remainder wait until level 45.

Is he level capped? Or did he finish the order hall?
Level capped (hence the heritage armor), don’t think I finished the entire campaign, I have finished the “half way” point though.

Numerous stuff got broken with 9.0 mostly its the flavor items though like the preserved mining pick and the gore petal gloves no longer work, any class hall vitality restore consumables no longer work. Still waiting on Dreamwalk for my third Druid, stuck with Teleport: Moonglade at level 50, have to go the extra step to get to the Dreamgrove and go all the way back to use the return feature.
I wouldn’t be surprised if these stopped working for new characters created after the patch.

I just happened to zone into the class hall on my level 47 Warlock just now and the book is there. He hasn’t finished the campaign, isn’t level capped and was created like a week ago at most.
some class books work like the warrior and hunter but ive seen paladin,priest,and druid not work so they are obviously not gone and I hope for the lore nuts sake that this is fixed cause sure we can read them online but its not the same as walking up to the big book to read about the cool stuff your artifact has been through
