Are Tanks And Healers Really That Bad?

Apparently as far as DPS are concerned anything that goes wrong in a group is either the Tank’s fault or the Healer’s fault. It’s never the DPS’s fault as far as DPS are concerned.

I normally play as a DPS. But there have been plenty of occasions that I have noticed that if there is a wipe the DPS start blaming either the Tank or Healer or even Both for causing the wipe. Now I will admit that I have seen DPS say things like “Sorry my bad.” But those are few and far between.

The norm is to blame the Tank or Healer without justification. What’s up with that?

In the heat of the moment, it’s tough to see that the hunter pulled an extra pack, but it’s easy to see that the tank died, so it’s tank’s fault.

Tanks blame it on the healers and DPS.

Healers blame it on the tank and DpS.

DPS blame it on the tanks and healers.

You realize this has been a long-standing tradition dating back to vanilla.

Joking aside its just a point the finger blame game situation. if a group fails we are all at fault. win as a team, fail as a team.

For a while OP was at least throwing in some ok new threads in their spam.

Now its just back to low hanging fruit and the generic “controversial” type topics.

Just log the run and you can find out exactly what happened.

Usually it’s everyone’s fault btw. Everyone could have done something better.

The faster you blame someone else for your mess up the less likely you are to get kicked

If you don’t have the right UI, most people don’t even know enough about what’s going on to know why something went sideways.

As far as they know, they just didn’t get a heal and died. That sounds like a healer problem. Or they got hit with a directional attack, that’s the tanks fault.

Meanwhile, someone with the right UI gets a warning that a massive frontal is coming and they should stand back, or there’s a huge dot ticking on them they need a defensive for it.

It’s only natural they’d blame anyone else. They’re completely unaware of their surroundings.
