If it’s so easy and takes zero skill…make an assassination rogue and get to 1800 in SS within a month after gearing and hitting 70 and I’ll delete my character. Should be easy right?
I swear almost every player saying ANYTHING is “no skill” and “op” has never even tried the class they complain about…

OP pretty much narrowed it down. Rogue is a braindead class which allows you to reset the duel indefinitely until you get what you want,no matter how many times you’ve failed. Its insane that you can even do this. Every other class gets a single chance to win the fight,but you are special, so you can keep wanishing, resetting and coming back full with 18 stuns ready to be spammed, healing reduction and everything else daddy Blizzard has gifted you, so you could get that free win after 500 attempts.
Lets see, the highest rank a rogue has in PVP ladder is in 8th place.
Classes above rogue…
Paladin
Druid
Hunter
Priest
Evoker
There are 2 Paladins above rogue, 2 druids above rogue.
The next top rogues are in 13th and 14th place. After 13th and 14th place, a rogue doesn’t come up until 35th place.
So no, its not the class beating you, its more skilled players beating you.

A Rogue isn’t killing you in an opener anyways so moot point. 10 sec stun? No one has that Rogue’s Kidney Shot maxes out at 5 secs for PvP with 5 CP investment and Cheapshot last 4 secs. This is before DR. After DR you have at most 7 Secs if the Rogue opens with Kidney (which is unlikely without prior action, and then goes into Cheapshot. If Cheapshot into Kidney the Stun time is 6 secs. This is not impressive given other classes stuns.

If you want to play an OP PVP class, play anything that has a healing spec and play a healer. No one can kill you 1v1. Even 1v2 is a stretch and you will more than likely survive long enough for them to target someone else.

whoever thought it was a good idea to give so many tools and buff healers to such a degree needs to re-evaluate his life choices
OP lists the rogue abilities which are great, and maybe he was right, at some point, in the distant past. right now, everyone has everything. rogues ain’t the masters of anything anymore.

I’d say 1v1, no external help, rogues (thinking subt only here) would be wows best class. Obviously wow isnt a solo game, but no class does it better

Under no scenario with equal gear and Cd should a rogue lose to a TWW 11.0 ret.
Herald of the Sun Ret Paladin, prepop Wake of Ashes, Hero Talent knocks us out of stealth. We’re either forced to engage or burn Cloak + Vanish / run pillar. After that, you have the upper hand unless you don’t know how to 1v1.
