Right now at level 25, rogues are able to take my 350 gs feral druid from 100% to 20% almost instantly. Was running around world pvp’n in duskwood and me and my priest friend went up against a rogue with a priest friend, as a feral druid i cant even get close to killing a priest, but that rogue pretty much killed my priest in a matter of seconds.
So, at level 40 however, rogues will still do more damage than me, but they will have cheap shots, kidney shot, gouge and ranged stuns. Do bliz plan on making us go immune to stuns after all these are applied? I can just see very low skilled rogues being able to solo everyone in phase 2 , besides warriors
Rogues are going to be among the best pvp classes at 40, as usual. We gain Cheap Shot, Kidney Shot, Blind, Prep, Dirty Deeds, Improved Sap, and who knows what other runes they might add.
That said… Mages, Ele Shamans, and Locks are also going to be insane in P2. So we aren’t the only ones.
wow that’s a real good gearscore OP, I’m mightily impressed. Anways, good job. Might I suggest opening another account so you can let said rogues know your gearscore? That might help if they realized who they’re dealing with.
While in this particular case I think it’s a skill issue, since why would gearscore matter in pvp? A lvl 15 piece with stam/int is better than a lvl 25 piece with int/spirit.
However, I do have to say the burst from ambush/backstab is extremely high at 25, taking anyone in leather or cloth down to 20% or lower before they even see the rogue show up on their screen. Making it so a rogue only needs to deal 20% (or less) of your health to win the fight. This makes it so even mediocre rogues can win fights against much better players. But also, this is how the class has been since vanilla anyway.
I think they will be less bursty at 40, but have more tools to lock you down. This’ll make it so the class becomes more skill-based than they are at lvl 25, and other classes will have a chance if they are decent at pvp, compared to at lvl 25.
Man I came in here to say something about the gear score comment but was like nah I can’t do that, guess SoD players are adapting to the worst thing that ever happened to wow. Glad to see a majority flaming for it.
