Is the faction balancing only applying to PvP servers?

Faction imbalance doesn’t effect PvE in the same way, though it will make the whole Ashenvale thing pretty awful for anyone that’s actually interested in it on the PvE servers.

Just completely false information here. If you would have bothered consuming the information that came out of Blizzcon, you would know that the event won’t start until both sides are well balanced.

ok, so instead of awful, it just won’t happen or it will prevent people from participating like Ashran use to do in WoD which I would argue would be an awful experience for those involved. That being said, yes you’re right I didn’t consume that came out of blizzcon about PvP because it doesn’t interest me in any way and I have no intention of participating in it.
But half the game development is centered around open world pvp. Dont be timid.
The thing about Open World PvP, is it doesn’t exactly take much actual development, the players make most of the content themselves. Blizzard basically made PvE encounters to get people to fight over. But that style of content doesn’t interest me at all.
