I recently decided to main Mage in Shadowlands. This was my main from Vanilla to early Cata. I hadn’t really touched it much since. I picked up Polymorph Turtle in ZG and Polymorph Pig from a quest, IIRC. I’m curious if these are still obtainable or if I’m a special boy now. Thank you in advance.
They’re still obtainable, and there a lot of new variants to learn, as well.
Polymorph Pig can still be done through the quest in Azshara, but if you hang out in Northrend Dalaran for a bit, you’ll see a gnome mage called the Amazing Zanzo who will pat the city and can teach you the spell.
Polymorph Turtle is a tome you can fish up. If you can stomach fishing for it, have at it, otherwise you can probably find it on the AH. Same goes for a lot of other polymorph variants.
(P.S. polymorph cat can be purchased from a vendor in Northrend Dalaran, so if you see it on the AH it’s probably at a stupid mark-up!)
