TC, you must understand, most people on Earth will never achieve anything or be part of the best in anything. Most people will always be mediocre, and the only way they can compensate mediocrity is with spending whatever meager amount of money they have.
When you give losers the chance to lazy themselves in a better position, they will take it. People, like an electrical current, tend to choose the path of least resistance.

They certainly don’t want immersion in the world (of warcraft), nor do they even come anywhere close to roleplaying (rpg).
They’re the types of players so lame, they would legit steal your monopoly money in a game of monopoly, when you get up for a drink, just to advance themselves.

and the numbers are insane, Yes those people do not want to play the game they just want to obtain things( (level & gear) and afk in city, and i can tell that more than half the player base is like that, this is why wow classic 2019 degenerated and now classic anniv is the same.
also tons of people just buy gold.

Leveling in Retail is pretty quick!
Not only that, but end game raiding/mythic/pvp are the hardest content wow has to offer bar none.
Come on over and get some heavy on if leveling is too tough.

They make tons of excuses about it too.
Yeah.
Some are open/brazen about it.
Most get defensive and start calling you poor if you say gold buying is cheating or make excuses like “Well Blizzard sells the token”.

Boosting is bannable, but Blizzard doesn’t enforce it because the company has become very awful and try their best to let slide as much as possible so retail players can still cross over here. But check it out for yourself. Attempt to report somebody’s name in general chat. Boosting is one of the drop down selections.
They used to ban for it all the time.
