Are our Val'kyrs/Gargoyles Spell damage Affected by our Mastery?

I really want to make that talent viable and pretend like I’m playing Shadowlands already. Just want to know if I stack enough mastery will I make it out perform the other two on the tier? Does our Mastery also affect our Skeletal magus’s Shadowbolt damage?

It seems like the more mastery I get the more valuable Army of the Damned becomes. It already beats out Unholy Frenzy by 1000 Damage. Sadly Gargoyle is still a 2k loss. If Mastery isn’t the stat to stack for it than what is? I’m hoping maybe there is a breakaway point though? Where maybe it is competitive with Army?

Mastery affect both gargoyle and Magus.

Gargoyle will be baseline and wont compete for a talent.

I know, I just wanted to play with it early, Seems like no matter what stat build I go for I can’t make it viable.

is mastery overtaking haste overall in SL?

Possibly yes. All pets will be affected by mastery so the value will 100% go up. Unclear if it’s enough to beat haste though.
