Are Night Elves and Void Elves friendly?

Just curious what is the dynamic between the Night and Void elves, other than the fact that they are forced into the same faction. Night Elves and Blood Elves aren’t exactly friends, so even though some of the BEs became Void Elves and joined the Alliance, I still wonder if the Night Elves are truly accepting of them?

I think it will be cool to eventually have Void Elf druids, like the Night Elves try to use druidism to help them control the void, just like they tried to solve the Nightborne’s dependence on the Nightwell by growing them an arcane tree.

DK here. Protecting the living. Idc what Garbo race you are, as long as it’s not a gnome.

Well we didnt kick them out of the horde just put of their home out of fear of ruining the well. We didn’t expect them to go traitor and join the alliance.
We were mad at them for being too voidy and then they ditched our entire team even lothamar liked the idea of killing them at undercity. But as far as now that the war is over still hate them for being too much of a danger but we might be civil I team ups and not at each others throats like say orcs and space goats or humans and forsaken

I would call them friendly in a “The king says you’re an ally so I won’t kill you” way. If they’re a hardcore traditionalist they are most certainly “cool” at most and ice cold at worst.

Void elves could be seen living in Darnassus before it was burned.

“We didn’t kick them out of the horde, we just exiled them and sent them die” one take.

I would very much assume night elves… don’t like void elves. At all.

I imagine there’s some kind of tension, and like other races within the Alliance (And Horde) perhaps some disagreements involving methods. But overall, they’re friendly with one another because they’re on the same team.

”Are ____ Elves friendly?”

Is that a serious question? I can’t think of many elves of any kind in your typical fantasy setting of being “friendly”. They are mostly written to be your stuck up people’s who believe they are better than all the other races. Just look at the original night elves and high elves for example. And then you have your blood elves now, the nightborne, and the high borne. Elves are stuck ups.

From what I understand Kaldorei look at joining the Alliance as a necessity due to threat of the horde, Rendorei are just exiled horde so after what happened in BFA I would think anything horde related exiled or not, would not be liked by the Kaldorei. At a bare minimum not trust worthy and wouldn’t want anything to do with them. (imho)

I would like to say i dont think the Kaldorei are portrayed correctly in game as they are in the Lore, The Devs do a very poor representation of the Kaldorei in the game.

I don’t think we’ve seen them as a group interacting very much. Shandris and Umbric have worked together perfectly fine though.

But it probably won’t be too much of an issue. The night elves aren’t as averse to magic as they used to be, they’ve gotten more open minded. The void elves joined before the war started and have been nothing but helpful with good intentions. Even if there was initial wariness I doubt it would stay there very long.

I think they’d get along. Although tension between Elves seems to be strong, night elves have generally been the more reasoned ones (exc. Tyrande).

During the insurrection storyline, Night Elves act as the force in the middle to stop the Thalassian elves from fighting each other.

The pranks during that scene are pretty funny though.

They were exiled instead of being killed. Rommath wanted Alleria arrested as a saboteur but Lor’themar said no and instead banished her.
They wern’t sent to die. Lor’themar sent them back to Stormwind because of the danger to Quel’Thalas.

Anduin accepted them but as a testing thing to see how it goes. He said they’d never be alone, walk alone and never face the darkness alone and they’d always have a home.

The pranks was the best part. Blood elves are really dumb though, mocking night elves because their ancestors were trolls when…Belves also came from trolls, and they are allied with trolls themselves :man_facepalming:

I’m generally nice to everyone, despite the loss of my tree and Tyrande going
m̶e̶n̶t̶a̶l̶-̶c̶r̶a̶z̶y̶-̶c̶o̶o̶-̶c̶o̶o̶ Night Warrior. I even wave to Horde players.

On the topic of my character wave, I’m supposed to be a fearsome scary warrior yet wave like a little schoolgirl. Can we fix that? Thanks thanks thanks.

Night Elves worship Elune, which is, acceptable. Void Elves pay homage to to The Void, which is unacceptable. The Light must maintain constant vigilance over those Horde rejects that were excepted into the Alliance out of pity by our king. While I champion The Light, I can only imagine that the followers of Elune share a similar belief. True acceptance can never happen.

Lore for race interactions?!
NO! ITS RED TEAM VS BLUE TEAM!

I would really expect some tensions, even with the Night Elves becoming more accepting of magic… Void is just… dangerous, like every worry they had when they exiled the highborn come to life… Every void elf could be a ticking time bomb, just waiting until madness over takes them…

That said, full on openly hostile i doubt (as of yet), if only because for now they are allies, and the VE’s are still contributing.

A confession! It is the first that I have heard, but perhaps it is a sign that there may be some chance for your kind to seek redemption in The Light!

That’s what Blood Elves usually do. First with High Elves, then with Void Elves.

It’s like they don’t even remember their entire race is an exiled one to start with.
