I’m looking to find the highest skill ceiling class in pvp. Let’s not confuse this with skill floor to start doing well but the highest skill ceiling. It has always been mage and I’m wondering if it still is? Either mage or maybe ele sham?
In my opinion I find rogues to have the absolute highest skill ceiling, that’s not say mage doesn’t have a high skill ceiling themselves.
Interesting so is it rogue > mage > rest for you?
No, Rogue > Everything else with mage higher up.
I would do Rogue > Shaman >= Mage >= Priest >= Monk >= Death Knight > Druid > Warlock > Warrior > Paladin > Demon Hunter >= Hunter
(This is strictly DPS and my opinion)
Interesting I’m surprised to see shaman second.
Rogue > Feral > Everything else. Feral dots still snapshot I think.

Rogue probably the highest along with warlock
id say mage and warrior are similar
Rogue>Lock>Druid are probably the top 3 with regards to ceilings.
When mages are under pressure that’s when they truly become hard to play. One of the harder skill ceilings.

It’s one of. Likely won’t have a low floor this expac either. As long as you are expected to maintain consistent cc while doing damage and getting trained, mage will be hard to play against strong opponents. JMO. A single bad blink loses the game- not many classes have that kind of pressure on a 15 second cd.
