Depends on your definition of “use”. Like how warriors can use them but don’t have the ability set to utilize them. Classes sometimes have abilities that specifically ask for a weapon type.

We used to use guns before, but based on how we used it , Blizzard thought Heroic throw is good enough to fill the gap .

id like hunters to dual wield guns, bows and crossbows would be kinda of hard though

Yup. On this season, there were some occasions that I gave up the Range Weapon dropped from a M+ Boss. I was laughing. I thought it’s raining Range Weapons on early stage of 9.1. I was trying to give it to anybody on the group although I know I am the only Class who could use it.

You could say the same thing about warglaives, op. Basically if ‘hunter’ is in the class name it gets exclusive ‘use’ of a weapon type

you could, but warglaives are a much more unique weapon. guns and bows are standard/common weapons across many games. and they have exclusivity to three weapon types- guns, bows and crossbows.

They are. I’m not sure why anyone would use swords or bows when guns exist, other than for cultural reasons.

or when magic exist. i like the idea of infusing guns with nature magic (or magic in general), i love the theme of combining magic with technology

It’s not just that they’re only used by hunters, but that they’re only used by 2/3s of hunter specs.

Honestly, discarding the “ranged weapon” slot was an oversimplification they shouldn’t have gone through with.

Regular guns could still be good for a magic user too. There are memes and videos about Harry Potter with guns.

yeah combine them for a perfect weapon. oh i just had a fun thought- priests infusing guns with healing magic. healers healing people with guns. i need this.

It’s a shame they took the ranged slot from Rogues. A gunfighter spec would have been cool.
