Are hunter's doing the expected amount of damage?

They seem to shred anyone they get to chase. I’m in full pvp gear and it feels like I’m level 9 in WSG being attacked by a level 10 in OG heirlooms.

Cant speak on the other hunter specs, but MM has no shortage of instant cast or damage done on the move, 11 ways to affect enemy movement, slightly above average mobility and you’re safest maintaining a position right behind MM, unless they are master keyboard turners. They cant shoot behind them but using crowd control and putting you in front of them they do have the tools for. With MM having best in game range, and the other tools to stop and slow enemies, fleeing them is tough without just about best in game instant mobility. They use to nuke my Ret, so I rerolled.

If your teammates CC the hunter you can surely get away. An uninhibited MM will kill players.

:smiling_face_with_tear: love you too Soulpriest

Yeah, kinda. As Dark Ranger, there is a choice node to heal with shadow damage done or…have wall add a small heal and the self heal gets a small wall. The later is nice because MM takes no damage or tons of damage, doesnt feel like smooth healable damage with a leach effect from shadow damage, plus we do much less damage fleeing spending no GCDs on Aimed Shot and lots on CC. The option to buff our self-healing and defensives some means more time on target with confidence we wont flop. But overall, yes, MM is more durable than SL and even DF marginally. Also the pvp talent that makes Feign Death add 3 seconds of 90% less damage taken is VERY useful if timed right.

I keep leaving my blitz games cuz I do t care about cr right now lol and the msgs I get are hillarious

I am surprised MM didn’t receive any nerfs this round on balancing considering how much the absolutely nuke people.

I’m surprised Ret and Prot didn’t get pvp buffed.

Yeah it is quite astonishing isn’t it.

Astonishing enough that I made a thread about it in the paladin section. I’m a Ret main, but because I pvp only I’m not allowed to be a successful Ret main. The 11.5 or sooner changes look good…but not quite sufficient.

MM has nearly instant mobility with disengage that doubles as a protection from falling damage without using a major defensive with a 5 min CD, a go fast button not too dissimilar to steed(but less telegraphed), faster in combat movement with even faster out of combat base movement speed, MS, the saftey of best in game range, actually good self healing, defensives that are not dispelled, potent enough damage to harm a healer, 11 total enemy movement altering abilities including 2 knockbacks, a silence, a dispell (rets dispell was deleted from the game). I don’t know how anyone would pvp as Ret right now, I rerolled halfway through DF.

In exchange for all the utility MM brings Ret has, nearly everything that is a talent, active or passive, nerfed in PVP and most of its PVP talents are still nerfed by 50%-80% of what they were early DF.

Nerf hunters!!!

MM is no doubt the strongest ranged spec for blitz at the moment. Hunters are still weak against teams with a lot of stuns, and have major issues with rogues and DKs sitting on them. Leaving hunters alone in blitz will let them erase the other team pretty quickly.

I’m just happy they are finally buffing the heck out of BM .

Yeah nerf hunters!!!

Oooh yea what bm needs is a bump so you can just press auto attack and maybe some more pets because that’s not annoying

Survival for the win :metal:
