Are honey bees aqir descendants?

If bee mount questline doesn’t touch old gods bug empire it would be a downer.

Raimond Mildenhall made them that large.

A lot of things in the Warcraft universe are unrelated despite their similarities. Like cows and Tauren or goats and Draenei. Best just to assume there’s no relation unless directly stated.

Would you call it a buzzkill?

No, they’re just big bees. Not every giant bug in WoW is Aqir.

I didn’t think about the giant insect link until you mentioned it, but now I really want Warcraft’s honeybees to be distant aqir relations just for the fun of it.

Are small bugs aqir descendants though?

Not all of them.

If you have N’zoth’s eye, can’t you tell if they are kindred spirits by looking at them?

… Is running into a wall and falling through the world an Aqir?

You did that in Classic, didn’t you?

No, the most recent common ancestor between bees and the Aqir was a fungus several branches removed from both.

The bees now the secrets. They hear the whispers on the wind.

Inside the hive even light must die.

The silent, sleeping, staring hives in the backwoods always dream. It would be merciful to smoke them out.

All places, all things have souls. Even flowers have souls. All souls can be made into honey.

Do you dream while you sleep or is it an escape from the horrors of the bees?

Have you had the dream again? A black bee with seven eyes that watches from the outside.

You will all be stung in the end.
