Hunters on the other hand get dark rangers.
Just look at them like talent builds. One will probably be better for different content and considering people change talents on the fly already, such as picking up more AOE or ST focus or PvE vs PvP utilities, won’t change much.
Since you can’t get all of them, yes essentially they are.

They are literally just an extension of talent trees with a break. So that you don’t interrupt current builds.
They aren’t cosmetic overhauls.
You can’t? I mean I know there’s a couple choice nodes in each not to mention there’s two different trees to choose from for each spec…but you can fill out every talent in each of the trees like you could with artifact weapons
Maybe a version of monk that has doubt , like taken over by sha of doubt that would be really cool.
