I report bots that I have no proof of botting all the time, and a few days later I’ll have a mailbox full of notifications from Blizzard that actions have been taken based on my reporting.

More and more people are doing this. Its really the only way the community can prevent the current p2w locusts.
Trying to prevent RMT is not deranged. I understand you want to keep p2w in the game but don’t project onto others.
Until Blizz states as such I would encourage people to report all GDKP’s and boosting.
Remember, thieves don’t think they are doing anything wrong, they believe they are owed what they take or some similar justification.
I’ve heard the same from players in game. I realize its antidotal but something has triggered the p2w kiddos to start crying on these forums and in general chat. I, and all the others, will continue to report

I have zero control over what Blizz decides to do with the p2w kiddos. Perhaps they just keep getting auto banned and perhaps Blizz takes more aggressive action. I can only do my part to rid SoD of the p2w/RMT/GDKP/boosting cancer the kiddos bring with them. Cheers!
Meaning to say, the people who buying gold aren’t giving the actual reason they’ve been banned.
GDKP isn’t against ToS. I understand why people are reporting it, as it really messed up classic/Era.
My assumption is that enough reports brought attention to these people who’ve been banned when Blizzard started going through their account activity.
All of this being said, I’m fine with GDKP and I’m fine with reporting them too. Just know that there’s a whole underbelly that exists in various discords. This battle is a lot more uphill than you probably realize.

GDKP is reportable when advertised in LFG chat.
This could very well be true. If so it just gives us all the more reason to report GDKP’s.
You may be correct again lol. I’m not naive enough to believe it will get rid of it, I just don’t want to see it. If players are forced onto discords and such thats fine as it will discourage the behavior to an extent. Truth is, cheaters will always cheat its who they are, part of their DNA. Its just better when cheaters have to hid from others and admit they are cheating

What’s a good way of separating them?
Personally, I ascribe to the “I will be the only hunter in this raid” mentality when discriminating against potential invites.
