Are Feral Druids bad for pvp?

Says the baddy bad druid specced owlsuck in cloth.

Druid vs mage is more lopsided than druid vs rogue. Druids are practically designed to kill mages, frost particularly. Fire can get lucky with crits, good thing FR gear is easy to find. Maybe you’re just fighting undergeared rogues, or you’re always getting the jump on them, or you’re already always in bear when they open on you. You are absolutley right that between a rogue that FAPs or a warrior that FAP’s I’d choose to fight the rogue every time tho. Bear damage isn’t great but it’s way more effective against leather.

I have mixed feelings but ultimately I think druids just suffer from not shining in other roles aside from flag carrying or defending.

uhm no.

What? That makes absolutely no sense. Besides even an elemental mage can get the sheep off. 4 sec is about 1 hit from the war. The only way youd actually kill a mage is if you get a sword hit proc+ auto + ms and all of em had to crit.
What are you talkin about?

Any 1v1 fight that takes more than 20 seconds to conclude doesn’t matter unless you opponent’s mic stopped working.

Uhu
 again:

I’m honestly trying to think of a situation in which a 1v1 happens, lasts for more than 20 seconds and the outcome of it changes anything substantial. You could maybe think of a ridiculous LM + ST + Mines situation in which there is a single defender on mines and you can’t rotate quickly enough to cover for the defender’s death, but even then 20 seconds is more than enough to get there, unless it’s the beginning of the match and you don’t have the ST graveyard yet.

The obvious one is if the FC is solo and you 1v1 him. In 20 seconds, however the rez wave will either have arrived or your teammates will have arrived. Stalling is a victory for whoever has the closest team.

Ok, AB begins, both teams send exactly one guy to Mines, the team that won BS can’t help him quickly enough, the other guy caps it and the team that lost BS swarms it. That’s the one situation in which a prolonged 1v1 can actually have a major impact, but even then, how “major” is Mines, exactly?

EDIT: Look, I’m not denying the value of managing to keep a warrior sheeped for 20 seconds but calling that a “1v1 victory” is a bit much, isn’t it?

If consumables are in play, nah. Nature protection potion = dead shaman. If a shaman is healing = free damage = 0 healing. I have yet to meet a shaman that expects the NPP to pop out.

Real talk if you can heal and you aren’t you aren’t getting in premades and you aren’t winning pugs so if you’re dead set on playing a meme spec even to the detriment of your teammates then have at it. Otherwise if you’re actually trying to be successful you should heal or reroll to a class that does what you want to do better.

Feral is not a meme spec though.

might come down to playstyle and I play my druid the most
but I literally never lose to a druid on my mage. They are easier to kite than other classes because they don’t realize shifting takes mana until its too late. HOTs aren’t powerful enough to handle even a mages CoC , Fireblast combo.

Just like the warrior, use a FAP the mage dies.

A) fight better druids (that said a mage deals so much dumb instant dmg that a druid can still lose.

and B) If a war faps
you sheep him and just avoid fighting him till he has no fap left.

ye sheep is a very long cast idd
1.5 sec vs a 2h dude that has a minimum of 3.0 speed.

Only thing that can blow you is pummel, but you can IB that, then resheep without worry.

There is literally no excuse to lose vs a war as a mage with or without fap. It takes a really great warrior to win vs a mage and most are average.

Normally I’m all for playing for the team
but with the way that the Alliance has been running battlegrounds, I see no need for stealthies to help farm lieutenants in AV. They’re better off farming HK’s with everyone else for the honor.
