Are faction Changes Worth It?

i mean yeah, you get to become apart of the other faction and keep your gear, but you lose all the reputation progress i believe, while also perhaps redoing the entire campaign, and do you even keep the legendary cloak?

Actually the reputations flip to their counterparts so you don’t lose them. I can’t imagine you lose the cloak or there would have been people here screaming.

You gain the reflective Rep. For example, if you had Exalted with the Unshackled and Zandalari Empire, you would be exalted with the Anakoan and Proud moore Admiralty

At the end of an expansion? Nope. Now is the time to level an alt.

Probably as it ties loosely to war story and faction change resets all this stuff.

Relevel at this point. the 100% xp is nice. Will you have BFA end game crushing alts? No.

You will have a nice alt to hit SL at 120 pretty quickly though. Like my newest 120. She will be the “high elf” hunter. If I choose to lose the void blue on her. I have 2/3 other void elves to stay blue.

edit: or a renegade blood elf rp could work for her. If my dreams of let us roll any side we want can’t be made real…I will take a normal light skinned void elf and rp her a blood elf that just said lets really see how green the grass is on the other side

Reputation would convert to the opposite factions equivalent. The cape would stay. Is it worth it? That’s more your call than anyone else’s. When I was on Alliance I was able to clear essentially the same mythics I do now. I would recommend being on whatever faction is aesthetically pleasing to you.

You just lose the war campaign progress. Everything else converts.
Cape is faction-neutral.

I faction changed because I dislike Horde lol.
I only have a few left that I barely played in BFA.

But the cloak quest is IDENTICAL on both factions.

No you don’t lose anything. I Faction and race change all the time, you keep everything. If you lost your stuff while faction changing you think there wouldn’t be people going ballistic on the forums rn ? XD
