Are Evokers Fun in Progression Raiding?

I know it’s a subjective, but I’m curious what others think. Aesthetically, I dislike them but I just leveled one through the memories event.

I’ve heard a lot of feedback about their range. Having played an Elemental Shaman for s3 and s4, the idea of playing something a bit more essential is very appealing. I haven’t figured out the rotation well enough yet, but it seems less convoluted than Elemental.

Would love to hear what you all like or dislike about the class. I’d be looking at either DPS build and run healer OS.

I’d say yes. I raided as preservation in s1 and s2 and absolutely loved the class during progression.

I just had to get used to the shorter range and everything else just fell into place.

Haven’t been doing actual guilded Mythic progression, but I’ve rather enjoyed my Evoker in all content.

Evoker in mythic prog is easily the most fun I’ve had in prog.

Granted, I was a fury main for the ~18 years before that so it’s a relatively low bar.
