Are Enchants Replaceable?

I have not enchanted anything since I rejoined WoW after 8 years of quitting.

Now, I’m nearly decked out in full conquest PvP gear, and wish to enchant my items.

However, I wish to experiment first with cheap enchants before doing the research to get the best enchants.

Can I enchant my gear now and replace them later with better enchants?

So just to check, let’s say I have a ring and I enchant it. I don’t need to get a new similar ring to enchant it with something else right?

Every time you get a new item, you have to re enchant it. You only need to re enchant the same item if you want to improve different stats.

Yes, to both questions. You can freely replace any enchant on any item.

You can enchant on top of an enchant, which will cause it to replace the old enchant.
