So we know that the Pantheon of Eternal Ones created by the first ones are just robots with an illusory appearance that makes them look like living creatures.
Denathrius created(?) the Dreadlords. So they are likely robots. So they just transform their bodies and appearance like a Transformer would, right?
So Dreadlords are Decepticons. Zovaal is a lame Megatron and Denathrius is the Starscream of WoW.
Primus = Prime which is a title in Transformers that can be passed on. Sigils are basically their sparks and are used to pass on power.
Zereth Mortis is just Cybertron…
Conclusion:
Shadowlands is just an homage to the greatest cartoon and toyline to come out of the 80’s but with the writing of the Michael Bay CGI explosion fests.

We know the Eternal Ones are constructs with souls embedded into them. The Pantheon are souls born inside of planets.

Ah, fair enough. They technically are a Pantheon, we just know them differently and it gets confusing sometimes.
But as for the Dreadlords, they’re a creation through Death Magic. The Eternal Ones don’t create constructs. Only Zereth Mortis does for the order of the plane of Death.
If they are where do I sign up to join the Decepticons
Are we sure death magic created them? Also didn’t they make the knock-off Aribter and have full access to ZM via their sigils?
I’m sticking with my Transformers head canon, it makes SL seem less bad story wise if it’s just a fanfic of an 80s cartoon.

Totally agree with OP.
Primus and the Titans r the real baddies tho. They wouldn’t even let Zovaal finish his sentences. The titans keep trying to create super duper synths even old goddy synths. And they basically don’t see us as really even anything other than raw materials, servants, or cursed beings.
We shouldn’t have pushed Denathrius, Zovaal, and Sylvanus into corrupting Anduin because titans and world souls and waygates. No one was willing to even hear them out. Thats the main problem with shadowlands.
Also does Azeroth even need a world soul? The legion got on fine before they had Argus. Plus im sure there’s still some wild soulless worlds out there still. We copped out and used Azerite beams to pop N’zoth. Did we even need to tho? Honestly if we all just submitted to the light everything would be fine too.

I mean technically they’d be more like shapeshifters which is splitting hairs but there is a difference. A transformer rearranges the parts of their body to make a different body whereas a dreadlord is either purely using illusion magic or actually changing elements of their body (like getting a tail or shrinking/growing).

Yeah but I don’t know how intricate the forms are. I assume if a dreadlord was shapeshifted into a tauren and I grabbed the tail, there would be a tail to grab and if they shifted into a robot body and I tapped on it, I would feel and hear metal.
I think it’s a safe assumption that their magic is powerful enough to basically be the body otherwise they would be far less effective at their jobs

Magic did though in Revendreth we could hunt them with a truesight like spell.
Well when Mal’ganis comes back again and turns into a giant tape deck that spits out smaller dread lords that turn into cassette tapes I just want everyone to know I figured it out first!
