I have been playing my evoker heavily and I like my evoker. But a lot of my friends and guildies say that Dracthyr is so ugly so they cant play evoker even though they’d like to create one.
One of their biggest complaints is how they walk and stand. I think they look great. What do y’all think?

Think they are fine, but different opinions and all that. There are people who have the opinion that blood elves were hotter with PS1 graphics, and that’s theirs to have.
Yes. They are terrible.
I like the model. The run could be a little better I don’t disagree. But otherwise our animations are nice. I like the smallest body option over the bigger ones.
I think their run looks a bit goofy in dracthyr form, but so do male nelves.
I love my dracthyr shadow priest. The wings in shadow form and void form are chefs kiss.
Their running animation does look rather unfortunate.
But I dunno, I think it was impossible for me not to be disappointed because for so long, I’ve been wanting to see a new rough and beastly-looking monster race added to the horde (not counting HM tauren due to them being reskins). Even if they were still vanilla models at the time, drakonids were perfect for the kind of vibe I’d have hoped for in a reptile race, and if you had told someone before DF that a playable dragon race was being added, they’d be the only frame of reference someone had when imagining it.
Then dracthyr came out instead, and for all of their customization options, I don’t feel like I can actually do anything to make them look fiercer. Worse still are the visage limitations, because in theory I LOVE the concept of them being an extension of one’s identity, but… you don’t actually get to make that choice yourself, because some patchy half-elf thing is all you get. And from a horde-side PoV (and especially after being told that Ebonhorn’s is because he identified with his tauren upbringing), I feel your dracthyr having a visage being more palatable to what the alliance would find acceptable ends up sending an accidental message of “I don’t want to look like I associate with you”, or that maybe you’d prefer to closet your dragon form, or something. It feels very ick to me.
Even if nobody hated the model per se, a playable reptile race was probably always going to be a relatively niche pick at best, same as the horde at large before blood elves were added. But taking that and effectively diluting that further with the visages (moreso now that they can be permanent for other classes), it feels like the race takes everything “monster” out of a playable dragon.
And you can’t even properly dress them up how you might like.
I really want to like my evoker alt, but looking at him kinda saps my enthusiasm when all I can think of was how let down I felt, and I end up having to log off.
I don’t like the dragon form. I also don’t like the visage form is so restrictive.
Oooh I wish I could be a dwarf visage form over a human elf.
Zahira is 100% a dwarf visage in my imagination. 
But we got what we got.
I think they look good aside from the run animation.

I honestly love how gangly Dracthyr are; makes all their animations way more expressive.
I actually don’t mind how they look so much and would make one if not for their atrocious running animation.
Its the whole armor and transmog issue for me. If I can’t transmog them their armor options would need to be way way way WAAAAAYYY more varied. The extremely limited armor variations is what kills it for me.

Not a fan of their design, but I begrudge no one for their choices. I mean, I am a Goblin player after all.
