irl its a form of currency used in the middle east and north africa
in WoW its a token you save up to buy raid loot

Its a currency you get from killing a certain amount of raid bosses that lets you get a weapon or trinket from the raid.

I liked it in shadowlands, got a, 285 Jaithys that’s still in my bank, it’s cool to have items become competitive again.
Wowhead datamined a code string yesterday for dinars.
