Are Classic versions of old content good?

Of course… pretty sure MMORPG is what WOW is and always was… I love customization, stay away with the slower leveling pace tho… that’s for the birds… unless they can make it fun like SWTOR did.

Yea they leaned a bit too heavily in one direction, they forsook balance of the two genres.

Retail has the functionality to support the concept of an “MMO”, but I think Classic hits more of that “RPG” element. I don’t need WoW to be an “MMO” to make it “good”. I think it’s already “good” with it’s “RPG” elements. So, the lack of people in perma Vanilla Classic doesn’t bother me. I’m having a blast playing the “RPG” aspect of it :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Guess, I’m a “bird” 'cause I’m in no rush to hit 60 :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

‘Been there done that.’
i don’t feel any need to replay/grind what I’d already done before, especially given an actually great community existed during that time.

Classic’s graphics make me wince. I always used to laugh when people complained about retail graphics, but man, classic’s are hilariously lacking. Yeah, i know it was perfectly fine when it was live (see first paragraph).

Anyway, sure they should keep at least a few servers open after the interest has died down. Why not. Even been-there’s like me may occasionally want to wander back for a stint to enjoy the nostalgia.

Yea I’m not a fan in the least of Vanilla, only was able to get through the level process once back in the day and it made me quit from being so worn out… I boosted my shaman in TBC to avoid it. Honestly, probably would have never have joined class if boosts weren’t available to skip it, I know it’s not for everyone…

It’s less about the time consuming process, it’s more the lack of an enjoyable leveling experience… but not every MMO can be SWTOR with an amazing leveling experience.
