Perhaps. Weren’t nelfs shaped by Elune or is that just their mythology or whatever? If it’s for reals then Elune must have some awesome brows

So the Void Elves inherited ears and fangs from their Troll ancestors, do we have any clue what led our Troll tusks to mutate into fangs?

I’m sure Elune has something to do with them as they are her chosen people but its always been vague. I think she grants them their silvery eyes.

Because it wasn’t a natural evolution but was magical in nature any little thing could be why we don’t see it progress.
You’ll have to forgive. That tidbits a major sticking point thats used against Blood Elves, incorrectly, quite a lot. Lots of folk are touchy about it.

I guess fangs are better than tusks, tusks would look odd on us void elves.

Tusks would make us look more primal and scary? As they would be visible all the time. It would also give others an excuse to call us Trolls. Lol.
Fangs however are for the most part inside the mouth and hidden.
On the bright side, we evolving from Trolls is far better when you consider the fact that Humans evolve from those filthy chimpanzee-like monkey’s. I guess we should be happy we evolve from a respectful race. Atleast we don’t evolve from those dumb dirty monkey’s.
Well it’s also how the person stated it too. They aren’t entirely clear on what they meant and then get huffy at everyone else about it.

Do blood elves still have the fel eyes though? I was thinking after the cleanse of Sunwell, their eyes have turned golden.
Also, as far as I know, if Blood elf was born outside of Quel’thalas during Sunwell’s corruption, their eyes would not change, and they would keep their authentic blue eyes. There is even a NPC whose name I dont recall, who is Sin’dorei and has Blue eyes.

Yes, Blood elves are cool, and they are the one of the elven groups which have my respect.
I respect them for their pride, and the honour they have towards their fallen ones, unlike their other cousins.
What do I mean by this, their kin got genocided, the remaining ones have renamed their name from Quel’dorei to Sin’dorei aka Children of Blood to remember and to honour the fallen ones. What did the other cousins do? Decided to keep their name Quel’dorei, aka High elves, thus we all know they are peasants playing at nobility all to ready to mingle with lower races. Puppets of humans.
So yeah, how Blood elves are not cool?

Some have. The lore is that for Belves who dedicated themselves to the light, their eyes have turned golden. For the other colors, their eyes have just reverted over time back to the color they were before the sunwell was corrupted, and the city torn apart and having to be powered by fel.
But I think also they are just forgoing a lot of actual story so that they can just give people more customization options. So it’s something they talk about in interviews about Belves, but I don’t expect to see story about it in game.

No matter what eye colour the Sin’dorei have, for me and for many others, they will be the true and last of their kin aka the true Quel’dorei.
