Oh yes. This for sure. Chris Metzen…the hero of the Alliance for sure. LOL
How much is rent in fantasyland? I’m thinking of moving there and ignoring facts and reality, too.
You mean like how Jaina hates all the Horde because of Garrosh? You mean like how Varian hated all of the Horde and wanted to kill the entirety of the Horde leadership at the Battle of Undercity?
But those characters aren’t really beloved anymore. And not revered in the way Anduin is.
High percentage of fans who complain about lore/story really don’t care about the lore or the story, they just want to make sure their favorite character is kept the way it is so they can self-insert. And Blizz knows that so they write the game with self-inserting in mind.
People don’t understand that PR contributes to a lot of Horde players choosing to play Horde simply because they want to be part of the “cool” faction.
The Horde isn’t any cooler than the Alliance. They only became cool because their fans were more loud and constantly reminding people.
How was the popularity event rigged?
Because the horde is more popular?
Was this a secret?
Shocker, horde is more popular
Anduin is revered? Another fantasyland homeowner.
Yes? Think of how many people were drooling at the mouth and shipping Wrathion x Anduin for so long. It exploded on this forum when Wrathion was confirmed to be back in 8.3.
Anduin is revered? Another fantasyland homeowner.
Both Alliance and Horde players make fun of Anduin and apparently he’s revered.
Alliance AR’s are the least played/least popular
…what?
Horse recolours vs new mounts.
The Bee would like to have a word with you.
Really obvious low effort questing zones (Quillboars etc)
Drustvar is amazing.
Obvious trolling of the HElf community by lead devs making hugely Horde-centric statements “The Horde is waiting for you”
They gave you high elven customization. I am sorry you get offended by rational thought.
that free chopper mount/popularity contest Blizzard rigged for the Horde.
The alliance vehicle is still available. Horde isn’t.
The only thing I can gather is you dont know what you are talking about and like to complain.
I think you mean that the Blizz Devs who all main horde were loud and constantly saying “the horde is waiting for you”.
Yet another fantasyland renter.
In defence of Anduin:
He is consistently written and his voice actor is very good.
Lots of examples of Horde side characters where this is not the case.
On the matter of the chopper, I explained what happened in an earlier post in this thread. Horde Devs were playing horde favoritism, but inadvertently overlooked a California law.
I didn’t know the California law part of this story. Amazing! Thanks for sharing this.

No. The Horde players are far more serious and passionate and loud than Alliance players when it comes to promoting their own. This is a key factor in players considering to choose a faction.

The world currently is in a phase where good is “boring, monotonous, uninteresting and not worth anyone’s time”. Which is what Anduin is based on.
Those same people often come crying back to the place where they left. So eventually it may turn.

How did they play favoritism by opening it up to a competition?
Are you saying they knew the Alliance had no chance of winning?
You’re welcome. You can google it, too.
Are you saying they knew the Alliance had no chance of winning?
Yes.
/10chars
Yes.
Oh ok.
I just wanted to see how deep this paranoia ran.
Can I get a quick cliff notes version of what happened and what it has to do with California law?
Hmm… and lets think about why that is… is it because the devs play horde more and are more invested in their story/development? Is it because alliance has been consistently been the halfassed developed faction since Cata? You act like it’s just a matter of fact when in reality it has been paved with horde bias. Very naive response, but unsurprising from a horde player.
