For people who like to farm transmogs, there is some really awesome items locked behind these forgotten warfronts. Is there any information about these transmogs becoming easier to farm? There are never normal or heroic groups anymore. Something to note, we have those follower dungeons, so I am not seeing any reason for why we cannot just do these easily and have the opportunity at the transmogs again.

Honestly, I’d love this too - I farmed a LOT of the gear while it was current, because I knew this would happen… but RNG being what it is, there are still some pieces I’m missing, and would like to work on obtaining!

Blizzard (and to be fair, most players) has completely forgotten that warfronts exist. We have to keep shouting until someone notices a thread like this one and they finally let us queue for them solo.

My copium is they will rework Warfronts when BFA Timewalking is introduced the way they reworked Mage Tower for the Legion Timewalking.

I’m still sad they didn’t try harder to make Warfronts work. I still feel like they had a ton of potential to be incredibly fun.
I suspect Blizzard feels the opposite. They sunk way too much time and money into making it work.
I like the Timewalking idea. I would queue up for these as a seasonal event.

I’ve been farming mail boots from darkshore warfront for years…sometimes I cant even try with all my tons bc its rare to form groups
if warfronts were pvp which everyone needs to build a base and destroy the opposite faction frotress it would have been a blast

Or they could have done the Strand of the Ancients thing where both sides get a turn to attack and defend.
I feel like if both side attacked it’d just be another AV/IoC situation where one side just has better terrain and wins on account of it.

I would expect yes. On expacs which do not get a stat squish, we are more powerful against old content.
I think they were always gonna be a BfA-only thing. The majority of that expansion’s story was spent on the faction conflict and it hasn’t really gone back ever since the story shifted away from it.
Much to the story’s detriment if SL and DF are anything to go by. It’s nauseating to watch the mental gymnastics they go through to convince us the Horde and Alliance could be all buddy-buddy like this.
We don’t have to be at each other’s throats but acting like the Dragonscale Expedition would ever actually work is just disingenuous. The flanderization they have to do to maintain this peace is incredible. Watching both the Explorer’s League and Reliquary be reduced from major competing organizations with contradictory motives, ethics and goals to just being “the archaeology guys” was heart wrenching.

Yep. They are about making easy, hard and fun, a crime.
What would a solo warfront even look like? The fights would obviously be easy, but a few times in BFA I ended up being more-or-less the lone gatherer and it took a lot of time.

We have follower dungeons, so maybe the rest of your group that’s not players fills with AI followers! Easy.
