Cool looking? they don’t work anymore but definitely worth it for the appearances.

I see people use them in time walking events.
They are old content that was nerf batted at the end of legion. The skill trees they had in legion are gone. They are only worth using to levelbfor 10 levels then get replaced by questing rewards and such.
The artifact heart eill also het mooted by the time sl becomes the new expac.

In terms of lore the legendary weapons of azeroth where sacraficed by heroes to drain sargerases sword and save the planet.
They are now butned out hunks of useless scrap. Gsmeplay eise they eork for legion leveling but after that get replaced.

They are good for xmog only now. Just like anything else at the end of an expac.
Personally the models where very hit or miss for me. Some worked well others failed completely.
Spec restrictions still attatched to them only hinders how useful their appearences are.
Of my 8 capped toons only 2 use the legion artifact models.

WTB Silver Hand for Ret transmog.
For taking up bank slots, or bag slots they are very good for that. Kind of wish they would of let the players keep using them, and just let us continue upgrading them with one of the relic slots. They could of just added new weapon skins, so folks could change the appearances on them in future content. Just my opinion anyhow.
Ehh my 2 pallies ret xmogs do not work with any of the artifact skins.
Of my capped toons only my priest is using her artifact skins for holy and shadow.
I would have let players forge our own new legendary weapons instead of the heart. Real massive skill trees. And the more stuff uou do and unlock the more visual parts you get to fully customize your weapon down to the last pixel.

Ya that is lame how they never relaxed that restriction after Legion ended.

They were, when Legion was live content.
Now they are just cool transmog items.
