Recently watched a fantasy movie The Dark Crystal, a film from the 80s, there was a race of evil birds called Skeksis, so they reminded me a lot of Arakkoas.
I’m not sure the people here are old enough to understand what I’m talking about.
By the way, in 2019 a new series was released based on this film, a prequel.
Yes, they kinda are.
Especially the hunched Outland ones, which were the only ones we knew until WoD/Draenor showed us the uncorrupted ones.
Hell, their ‘city’ in Terrokkar Forest is called Skettis lol, I think that’s a big red flag of a reference right there. 
Haha, of course, I couldn’t remember where I heard it.
They even have a similar walk IIRC.
