Are alliance supposed to be able to interact with the horde elders?

I just went into Orgimmar and tired to talk to Elder Darkhorn, but even though he was green, I couldn’t interact with him. Wondering if it was a bug, because wow head comments seem to imply that he should be interactable with alliance

Yep, you are supposed to go into Horde territory as Alliance and get the elder coins.

Yes, I got my coin from Elder Runetotem in Razor Hill (the one outside Orgimmar in Durotar)

So that means that it is a bug that I can’t talk with the Elder in Orgimmar?

I had gotten my coin from Elder Darkhorn. She was in the Valley of Wisdom next to the bonfire outside the building with the guards at the doorway.

Yes, I know where she is . I am standing right next to her, and I can’t talk to her.

I’m not sure if this command will work, as I haven’t tested it yet.

/run print(IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(8677));

That should return true if you had completed it somehow.

Haha, ok so I figured it out.

She is standing next to a giant bonfire and half of her “click box” is inside the bonfire. If you stand behind her and try to talk to her (trying to stay out of sight of the horde), when you click on her, you are actually clicking on the bonfire instead.
