Are all meme specs generally accepted in raids nowadays? like could have a good chance of dpsing as a Druid or a Spriest, 2h warrior, etc?

One shadow priest is needed anyway (that’s me). Rest are not so luxurious

Our guild has the content on farm, but the only spec we have that can be considered meme spec would be maybe our ele shaman. But he rips the damage meter.

Each raid normally brings 1 spriest for the warlocks if they have a high amount of warlocks.
2H fury is viable as horde not as viable as Alliance.
Druids are not allowed in raids even as resto, all buffs are done outside.
No other meme spec is really acceptable to hardcore guilds, but if it was a chill casual guild then yes you can do whatever you want.
Only the elitists don’t let people play how they wanna play. And those are typically toxic, garbage places to be anyway. Anything that’s out right now and within the next year is easily clearable. What’s out now is even clearable by people not 60 and in greens.

Right now yes due to the fact that Tier 1 content is so minmaxed that the bosses die before any of the bad specs main issues come up.
Tier 2, 2.5 and 3 are going to be much more normalized. Closer to what Vanilla was actually like and boss fights will start taking multiple minutes to kill. Which will kill ret, balance, elemental and shadow.
But when Naxx is current then some specs start to become really good that werent before. Like enhahcement and sub rogues.

If the guild cares about parses they won’t have meme specs. By speccing sub-optimally you’re actually lowering everyone else in the raid’s dps

Raids (or more specifically guild and raid leaders) are not a hive mind who all do the same thing.
You will find raid groups that reject anyone who is not the latest and greatest meta min/maxer. You will find raid groups who are happy to get 40 people online and at the raid with basic preparation. As extremes, one of those groups would not accept “meme” specs and the other would.

Most groups aren’t going to have the luxury of choosing people. They’ll take what they can get, no matter how bad it is.

No druids are garbage I would rather play retail then see a Druid.
Don’t lie. All guilds take at least two druids because MC and BWL drop at least 9 pieces of druid gear per run

1.12 is world of Naxxcraft. I think the only time there will be any sort of road block will be late AQ40. Keep in mind that dps was threat capped until 1.11 during progression raiding. In this patch, you can go balls to the wall all the time.

It all just depends on the raid group whether meme specs are fine or not. I personally would never want more than maybe 1 or 2 meme specs in my raids.
ANY guild that does this is beyond dumb and has no idea what is viable and what is not, or they would not have that rule to begin with.
Furthermore any guild that needs to max out to clear current content is beyond bad, like waaaayyy beyond bad…like so bad I feel sorry for anyone they tricked into joining them. Because they are being taught that most absolutely horrible game play.
Please tell your guild leader he needs to uninstall. And delete anything he has touched in game so that other people do not catch his disease of stupidity
