Ardenweald Gorm armor set

Before the expansion released there was a datamined mail armor set for Ardenweald that looked like it was made of Gorm plates. However, when you look at the mail set for Ardenweald it’s a different set. Is this set still in the game, or was it removed before the expansion was releasd? I want that armor set.

Not sure what you’re talking about, but there’s only one mail set for Ardenweald.

Sounds like whatever you saw might not have made it to live.

I saw it on WoWhead before the expansion release. Sucks that it didn’t get released.

Pre-release datamining often shows items and variations that either come a lot later or never make it into the game. If it was concept art at something like Blizzcon, then all bets are off and things can change at any moment.

That’s the Mail covenant armor set from the Alpha. The feedback wasn’t good so it was changed to the set we have now

The surprising part here is that mail was getting a cool set. Seems like the devs don’t want mail to look better than their favorites (plate).

Also I enjoy the bug themes WoW throws at us quite a bit. Klaxxi are bae

Don’t much care for the rest of it, but the helm is certainly something I’d use…
