I just took a look at Hero talents for priest, and saw Archon is based around… Halo. What??? That is probably the worst talent a priest has. Use it and everything around you aggroes which means dead priest unless you massively outgear the area.
Could someone please explain how this is anywhere close to viable? Because I’m not seeing it.
It doesn’t agro untouched enemies.
Other than the hilarious overheal and the fact it makes us not feel like what we think an archon is, it’s quite useable.
This is correct. I was watching Jak’s stream the other day and he accidentally pulled extra mobs in Necrotic Wake on beta. The group wiped. He said, “nah man, that wasn’t me, Halo no longer pulls mobs as of a patch way back.” Then he hit Halo on the second attempt, it hit + aggro’d an extra pack again (and this time it was obvious that it did), and his jaw hit the floor.
I bet he had the same expression I had when I saw it pulled everything in the delve. I had to go back to my recording to see if I was just being mistaken and accidently pull a pat.
I know at the start of the beta it didn’t do that; I feel something happened recently that caused this to happen I think the most recent patch did this.
It has way more play synergy for Voidform than Voidweaver does. I’m curious about it being a halfway decent mythic specs while reserving Voidweaver+Dark Ascension for raiding.
