Archmage title in BfA

Hey mages,

I’’m not into current “content” so to bide my time until 8.2 I’m levelling mages in the 2 specs I don’t play so I can play all three.

I want to go back and get the Archmage title for them. My fire mage is 120 and I’ve done the first part (got Felo’meloran) but now it wants me to start the story in Aszuna.

It’s been too long since I got the titles on my toons. I can’t find a guide to how much work is involved once you’re over-levelled for it.

Anyone gone back for the title and have a timeline (ie: how much of a time sink it is) or a link to a guide specifically about getting Archmage title if you’re in BfA?

Otherwise I guess I’ll just slog out the Legion story on two more toons.

I picked it up when it was current content, so I don’t have an estimated time required at level 120. How about the list under the mage section at this link?

If my memory of it is correct, it also serves as a prerequisite for obtaining the Archmage’s Prismatic Disc mount. It has easily been my favorite mount from Legion.

Yeah that speaks as if it was current. I think I’ll just blow through it and see how long it takes.

If memory serves, you just have to complete your Order Hall campaign and you get the title. The final quest in the Mage campaign awards the title:

Yeah I got it done on the weekend. The only part that was “hard” was the gating behind the mission board missions (5 1hr missions TWICE) and having to do other mission board missions to level up followers so they could do the required ones.

Wasn’t hard to get. Any actual “content” was breezed through at 120.

I’ll get it on my fire mage this weekend.
