Why did you change the Archivist’s bag from an awesome backpack to a bucket with tools in it? Whoever keeps making the random backpack transmog changes needs to stop.

Came here to find out what happened to my bag ?! I loved this backpack and now it’s just GONE and replaced with a fabric garbage can. This is not what I put my currency toward. Why work or try for anything if the powers-that-be will take them from you, for no reason, and without warning.

I agree. I found it very disappointing. I made a post about it in the Transmog forum. My Archivist Elegant Bag is Ruined! I glad you made a post as well. I really would like to see this unfortunate change reversed.

I have to admit, this trend of changing cosmetic items after we grind/buy them is a touch concerning. Why is this becoming a thing? To give other items we don’t have yet more value and incentive? I don’t understand.

I’m so saddened by this… It looked so good before, now it’s just… ‘meh’. 
Them changing it is as bad as them nerfing the sword size, and the Bloodhunter Footwraps model out of nowhere a while back

This habit of changing cosmetics after we purchase them is getting ridiculous— to the point where I’m going to have to seriously debate on whether I’m staying subbed to a game that’s going to change stuff on me after purchase.

I’m hoping it was unintended and they’ll restore the original backback. But… throughout DF backpacks were randomly changed each patch to hide weapons without any comment from Blizz. They have a bad habit of changing these types of cosmetics and giving no reason for it.

Models for purchased things should never, EVER be changed. Change the model of Alleria all you want. Give Thrall a new hairdo. I dont care.
But when you change the model of something we literally worked for, something we literally bought, thats a bridge too far, Blizzard.
Aint no way this was a bug, either. Someone went into the games code and switched the models.
Like, if they decided to take my Bone from my backpack? I legit would have a fit.

Seems like this is going to be the norm from now you. Grind for currency to buy transmog that they will arbitrarily modify without telling you.

It is in Bug Report forums, please bump there. If it isn’t a bug though, I really feel slapped in the face because I saw that backpack and finally had a reason to rejoin the game. Heartbreaking.
