[Archeology] which races to work toward?

Hi,

I just started going hard on Archeology (Legion specificaly) and I was wondering if there’s any particular benefits of going for crates of one race or another with my restored artifacts? Do different races have different rewards? I was having a hard time finding info on this on WoWhead.

Any archaeologists have any advice?

Tol’vir, Tol’vir, and Tol’vir, and Troll.

But other than the recipe, these solves are ultra rare.

Thanks for your help! So is there any point to going out and doing say night elf, orc, human archaelogy?

Every race has “rare” items to find. Tol’vir gets highlighted because it has some of the more desirable ones (mounts and a rare and useful pet). Most races offer either toys or account bound items that aren’t as good as heirlooms (they don’t scale) but can be passed to the right sort of alt at the right level so are still useful now and then.

Tol’vir is also a good choice for restored artifacts because it is harder to get Tol’vir sites to spawn due to them being in a limited area on a large continent.
