I am leveling a Dwarf Outlaw Rogue using archaeology. I leveled arch to 300 (320 actually), character to 21, and Outland dig sites are not showing up on the map (seemingly on just this character). I reloaded the UI. I reset the UI. I don’t use addons at all. Is there some prerequisite I’m missing? A workaround/fix?
Make sure you have your UI set on the minimap to show digsites.

It is. I can see the classic, Draenor, Broken Isles and the BFA ones on the big map. Outland is supposed to be showing up on the map after 300, but I don’t see them. It’s just on that one character.

Ever get this resolved? My neice isn’t either on her account. I made sure we’ve trained zones Archaeology (we’re 60) and that the UI is set on the minimap. Both of us tried with our addons disabled. If I go to a location that says there should be a digsite (coords) and click “Survey”, it says “You can’t do that here”. I’m at a loss.
I don’t know if it did. Honestly, I deleted that character because that was all he did, and he couldn’t go any further.
I was also having this problem and didnt see on my mini map an option to track dig sites… But when i opened my map and clicked the magnify icon there was the option to track dig sites!!! Fixed the problem for me

Outlands - Does Not Work
Northrend - Does Not Work
Cataclysm Lands - Does Not Work
Pandaria - Does Not Work
Draenor - Works
Legion - Works
BFA - Works
I did try this on a current character (287 Archaeology) as well as a new character (1 Archaeology). Both characters can see digsites for all of the same lands and not any digsites for the same lands. Finally went to my old main (950 Archaeology) same exact results.

I cant get them to show in classic lands at the moment, I have not tried the others. Its so frustrating.
Still not working now. Though are showign on some toons but not on other toons and the toon I need it working is the toon it isnt working on.
