Nether Tempest should not Be a prerequisite to Touch of Magi.
I for one DESPISE Nether Tempest with a passion and always avoid it as it does no damage and does not add anything to Arcane Tree/Rotation whatsoever. I do NOT want to be Forced to chose this worthless Talent to get Touch of Magi.
Please add something there or swap it with Impetus talent.
I wouldn’t mind it so much if it didn’t look so damn flimsy. If it was an actual Arcane tornado worthy of the moniker “tempest” instead of what basically looks like confetti popping off, I would be fine with it. Especially if it’s damage was buffed so that it feels like an impactful button to press outside of its interaction with TotM and Arcane Echo. If they are not going to make those changes then they just need to merge NT with Arcane Echo so that in addition to the effect it already has it also periodically pulses damage.
Considering its used in the rotation and benefits from surge…
its not worthless.
It’s used for mana conservation when you get really low. And it keeps you in combat on a training dummy!
